The FAIRPLAY-Group is involved in a widespread number of activities:
Harbour Towage | With a variety of different tug-types, FAIRPLAY provides towing-services in the Port of Hamburg, River Elbe Ports of Wedel and Stade, the Ports of Rostock, Wismar, Stralsund, Sassnitz/Mukran, Wolgast and Lubmin, all located on the German Baltic coast, the Benelux Ports of Roterdam and
Antwerp and the Polish ports of Szczecin, Swinoujscie and Gdynia. |
Coastal Towage | | Designed to perform coastal towage jobs, FAIRPLAY´s tugs are also regularly involved in short-sea-towage-operations. |
Deep Sea Towage | Specific tugs are permanently employed in deep sea towage, primarily between Europe, the USA, Africa and the Mediterranean Sea |
Salvage Operations | | Ships in distress always have priority to avoid loss of ship, cargo and lives but also to avoid environmental damages. With tugs stationed along the North-West-European coastline, FAIRPLAY is a professional salvor regularly involved in salvage operations. |
Coastal Protection | Fairplay is founding member of the "ARGE Küstenschutz", a Joint Service of the leading towage companies in Germany. The German Government is chartering 2 of the most versatile Emergency Towing Vessels (ETVs) from the ARGE Küstenschutz which are the ETVs "BALTIC" and "NORDIC". ETV "BALTIC", delivered in late summer 2010, is stationed in Rostock-Warnemünde. ETV "NORDIC", chartered as per 1.1.2011, is stationed 10nm off the island of Norderney. In addition a third seagoing tug, "FAIRPLAY-25" is permanently stationed in the port of Sassnitz in the Baltic Sea. |

Pontoon Chartering | | In October 2001 we commissioned a series of road transportable pontoons (3x12m and 3x6m). These pontoons are designed for construction works in locks and canals. Equipped with versatile coupling-mechanisms, these pontoons can be connected to platforms of various sizes and various loads (upto 165 tons). |
Pushers | To move pontoons, barges and other crafts, Fairplay has two pushboats stationed in Polish ports. One of these boats is operative in bunker-supplies in the Gdansk/Gdynia-area whereas the second of these 770 HP strong pushers is working on water-related construction projects along the Polish shoreline. With a draft of only 1,20m these pushers are able to operate in shallow waters. |
Mooring Services | | In the port of Wismar, Fairplay Towage offers mooring services on a 24/7 basis |
Ships´ Reporting Services | | The ships´ reporting service is an indispensable tool for the port industry from shipping agents via shore-installations to authorities. Fairplay Towage is active in this segment in Wismar |

Ship Yard
| | The shipyard Theodor Buschmann Gmbh & Co, is well known for almost 130 years of building tug-boats and inland watercrafts for numerous operators. Today the yard is specialized in the conversion and repair of dredging equipment, barges and other watercrafts as well as the construction of sophisticated steelstructures. |
