Security is an increasingly important aspect for any shipping company. In this respect Fairplay Towage considers the ISPS-Code as a tool to enhance maritime security. Since 1.7.2004 ships over 500 GT need to be ISPS-certified by a "Recognized Security Organisation" (RSO).
Although our tugboats are usually below 500 GT, Fairplay opted to certify all those tugs being permanently involved in deepsea-towages, offshore-works or governmental tasks.
